I’m thinking about Psalm 23:1 today: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Repeat this verse over and over to yourself today, and emphasize the first word: “The LORD” is my shepherd. It is he who cares for you, guides you, looks for you when you are lost, protects you from the wolves of life that would destroy you.
Some look to the president, governor, a teacher or preacher to care for them. Children look to their parents, but every human falls short. Don’t look for anyone else to be your Shepherd ; they aren’t wise or powerful enough to combat the Enemy’s tricks. The LORD alone is able to do what needs to be done in your circumstances today. Look to him alone.
